This handwoven organic cotton shawl is crafted in Kutch, Bhuj (India) by artisans from rural communities with a long-standing tradition of textile making.
Both long sides of the shawl are finished with matching woven panels that run the full length of the piece. These panels introduce layered horizontal bands in sage green, muted pink, warm rust, and subtle accent tones, creating structure and visual depth while remaining harmonious with the body of the shawl. The design is balanced and intentional, with the patterned panels framing the piece rather than overpowering it. The shawl is completed with hand-tied tassels in complementary earthy shades, reflecting the colours used in the woven borders.

The making
Made in Kutch, Bhuj, by artisans from rural communities with a long-standing tradition of textile making. The handloom process is slow and precise. From preparing the yarn to weaving and finishing, each shawl takes approximately 8 hours to complete. Small variations in weave, colour, and finish are a natural result of the handmade process and are preserved as a mark of authenticity.
Material & care
100% organic cotton: grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, light, breathable and soft against the skin.
- Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with similar colours
- Hand-dyed cotton may release a little colour in the first wash
- Dry flat or line dry in the shade; avoid tumble drying
- Warm iron on the reverse while slightly damp
