Shipping policy

Delivery

United Kingdom. Delivery is free on every order. Each shawl is sent by tracked post and dispatched within two working days of your order. Most UK parcels arrive within two to four working days of dispatch, and you will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.

International. We are happy to send our shawls worldwide. International delivery is tracked and the cost is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. Delivery times vary by destination, typically five to ten working days from dispatch. Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices.

Packaging

Every shawl is folded and wrapped by hand in tissue, with no plastic.

Returns

If a shawl is not right for you, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Pieces must be unworn, unwashed and returned in their original condition. Because every shawl is one of a kind, we are unable to offer exchanges, but you are welcome to place a new order for another piece.

To arrange a return, email care@astoryofthreads.com with your order number and we will send you the return address and instructions. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or was not as described, in which case we will cover it. Refunds are made to the original payment method within five working days of the shawl reaching us.
